COVER UP
Got an old mistake you want to forget? Ex’s name still on your skin?
No worries – we’ve got skilled cover-up artists on our crew and we’ve seen it all.
In theory, almost any tattoo can be covered. But a great result depends on more than just the new design — the condition of the existing tattoo matters too. That’s why we always ask you to come in for a consultation. We need to see the original piece in person: its depth, color saturation, possible scarring — all of it.
Photos alone won’t cut it. Lighting can make a tattoo look lighter or darker than it is, and texture issues are hard to spot on a screen.
So to give you real answers and solid options, we need to see it live.
SCAR COVER
Thinking of covering a scar with a tattoo? It’s definitely possible in many cases — but there are some things to keep in mind.
First: the scar should be at least 2 years old, fully healed, and not red or inflamed. If the skin is still sensitive or not fully recovered, it’s not safe to tattoo over it yet.
Scar tissue behaves differently than normal skin — ink can blur, lines might not hold sharp. That’s why designs like mandalas or fine-line scripts usually aren’t the best idea here. That said, there are plenty of other options.
Every scar is unique — just like every person. So come in for a consultation, and we’ll talk through what’s possible together.
